The Society of Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgeons is organized exclusively for charitable, scientific, educational and literary purposes. The Society will encourage the study of, promote research in, improve the practice of, elevate the standards of, and otherwise advance genitourinary reconstructive surgery.
The Mid-Atlantic Section (MA-AUA) is one of the American Urological Association's eight geographic Sections, with approximately 1200 urologists. The Section seeks to benefit the general public by encouraging the study of urological medicine, and by maintaining the highest standards for urological education, practice and research. The Section also promotes the publication and encourages contributions to medical and scientific literature pertaining to urology. The Section fosters fellowship and cooperation among its membership to advance their legitimate professional interests.
The Northeastern Section (NS-AUA) is one of the American Urological Association’s eight geographic Sections, with approximately 800 urologists (60 percent U.S. and 40 percent Canadian). The Section includes 16 urology residency training programs where a total of approximately 180 residents are currently attending. A primary mission of the Section is to assure the membership of the NS-AUA continuing excellence in research and educational activity within our Section.
The ROCK Society's mission is to further the investigation of calculi and reach a better understanding of the basic mechanisms involved.
The Society for Basic Urologic Research (SBUR) is a US-based basic urological researcher's society formed in 1986. Members include molecular biologists, immunologists, epidemiologists, andrologists, oncologists, biochemists and clinical urologic scientists from academia, industry and government.
